From a small family eatery to the most beloved culinary brand in Hoi An

1970s

Origins

The restaurant was built in early ancient-town Japanese architectural style, bearing the mark of Vietnamese–Japanese cultural exchange.

1985

Garden Expansion

The garden area was expanded in traditional style, increasing capacity to 200 guests.

1999

UNESCO Heritage

Hoi An was recognized as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site — international visitors increased dramatically.

2005

Le Ba Truyen II

Le Ba Truyen II Garden branch opened at 12 Ba Trieu, featuring spacious garden-style seating.

2012

Ba Loc Floating Restaurant

Ba Loc floating restaurant launched on the Thu Bon River, offering a unique dining experience on the water.

2024

Full Renovation

Full renovation and upgrade, increasing capacity to 350 guests, and the launch of a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the ancient town.
